Buffr Branding

Buffr is a financial monitoring platform designed to help parents prevent underage gambling through real-time transaction visibility. I led the naming and full brand identity development, creating a calm, protective brand that positions the product as a layer of safety rather than control.

Buffr is a financial monitoring platform built to address the growing issue of underage gambling by giving parents real-time visibility into transaction activity and early risk signals.
I was responsible for the end-to-end brand creation — from strategic naming to full identity system execution. The challenge was to position the product within a sensitive category, balancing protection with trust while avoiding any sense of surveillance or control.
The name Buffr reflects the core product philosophy: creating a protective layer between behavior and consequence. This concept informed the entire identity system — from visual language to tone of voice — resulting in a brand that feels calm, modern, and supportive.
The final output includes a scalable brand system applied across product interfaces, marketing materials, and institutional communications.
